It is really necessary to learn English. In general, the universal language on the Internet is the English. Nowadays in the competitive job market it is necessary to speak English. So if you learn English you will have a better chance of getting a job that pays more. English is the world's most popular second language. I love this information!
As a plain citizen, I think all I can do is to be a good one who's doing every task assigned to me only for the good of our country. How I wish our new President's words are all true. The leader should always lead ahead for the followers to follow so how can we follow and contribute in the development of our country, if the one we are following is also doing those dirty jobs!
I think that if we concentrate on developing a productive and progressive educational program that integrates our cultures into progress, then it would help. Our youths need to be prepared with a deep understanding/respect. We need to build the future by strengthening the hands/minds that will influence its progress. A solid foundation of productive/contributing citizens with respect to their societies and progress is a must. Prepare the ones that will touch the future with respect and humility towards their roots.
For me as a citizen of this country,I should begin in myself the things that I want to change in our country. And for the new President of our country "congratulations".I hope that he can manage our country in a good manner so that our country will be a better and a progressive community in the future.
To Rinor and zenaton-- I agree with your observation, however we need to consider also other aspects of ourselves . Skills in English is just one of the qualities of a globally competitive person.
Changing ourselves is for me something which is difficult for a simple individual to do. It is because it would involve changing things which is/are or may be already part of one's system. These might be the things that one is already comfortable with. This might be the things that one keeps on doing though these might be thought as something which is not beneficial-something not good for oneself and the community. Awareness and consciousness of the need for self change is the first step that one should take that may lead to the change per se.It may be difficult for one or two but if we'll be humble and pray, God will help us heal and change oour land. Nothing is impossible for him.
For me as a Filipino citizen i would follow and obey the rules and regulations of our country even if we are in a democratic country..And for President Noy-Noy i hope that he will be a good leader,Because a good leader have a good follower..And i hope that he can handle our country well... I think the significant contribution of President Benigno Aquino ,is to minimize graft and corruption.As he said that he will not waste the trust of many people.No corruption there's no poor people. The health service for the people is one of this contribution,like philhealth and etch.
Established a trading center,stop red tape,help OFW,and for in a right changes of the philipines.
i think the new president now should be a aood person>and fighte..all we can do is to follow the task that we assigned to us. Pay our taxes <and Word peace.JEJEJ
I was very optimistic that w/in the first term of President Benigno Semion Aquino 111 there would be a very far-reaching changes in our country. The glory and progress of our country should depend on our unified visions and efforts. It must be complemented w/ a new brand of leadership w/c has to break the chain of traditional ways and impose strong political will to transform change that would truly institute transparency and ethical governance.
It was send a message to us, that we need to make ourselves more responsible in terms of proper waste dispposal.Where as the garbage.make our nvironment polluted , because of breathing with the bad air. It was said, that the photepretation was altain to the people, for enstance, that we make it more proper, to pressent somedistorbance of our nature. lastly , were the one who serve our nature, rather the mother earth in any problem may be come.
In the Inauguration of our President Benigno Simeon Aquino 111, he has a lot of promises and plan for the progress of our beloved country. I definitely confirm that President Noynoy has the capacity of being a good leader aside from a good brother. We should unite and cooperate for the plan of our president to obtain the visions and missions as what our President aim.
