Try to explain the denotative and connotative meanings of the haikus...


As the wind does blow

Across the trees, I see the

Buds blooming in May

  1. Denotative: it is really obvious that if wind does blow upon the trees , it's a sign that the buds (a flower that has not yet opened) will be blooming in the month of May.

    Connotative: as problems(winds) blows (overcome) upon us(trees), remember that it's not the end of the life of the tree, but it's the beginning of new life(May). Our hurt hearts will soon be recovering(bloom).

Base of my understanding that the poem has a two figurative speech are the Denotative and Denotative the Denotative speech and base of my understanding that i observe the flower will be blooming during the may time because of the spring season and every spring season the flower will blooming during the month of march to june.
    And a Connotative base of my understanding the problems is the wind the blows are the coming and the bloom are the recover.

  3. Denotative-As the wind does blow Across the trees, I see the Buds blooming in May if the wind does blow that's the sign that the flower will blooming during the month of may
    Connotation-for example when JESUS CHRIST enter to your life there will be a changing in your lifestyle that`s all thank you.

  5. In denotative meaning of that poem is when the wind blow the flowers will bloom.
    In conotative meaning when the trials come dont loose hope because in every challenges or problem there is a solution.After the rain has
    gone,you can feel the essence of a sun.
    To make our problems easy to deal,have faith in GOD and dont let your problems ruin your life. Dont take it seriously it might be the cause of mental problem.Just do what is right.Move forward and Im sure at the end you feel happy.

    WINDS- THE BAD PERSON
    TREES- GOOD PERSON


    When the bad person is the friend of the good person the good person maybe a bad person. because of his friend bad person.

    DENOTATIVE MEANING:
    The person is watching to the trees and that trees is blown by the winds then the person saw the buds(flowers)blooming in may.

    For me, it means that as the wind blows across the trees, we all know that the buds or the flower that has not yet opened will be blooming in MAY...

    Connotative Meaning:
    For me, in the connotative meaning it means that, if there are problems (wind) comes (blow) in our (trees) lives, we should be strong and don't think about it.
    What are we going to do is to pray and have faith in God that in every problem there are solutions.

    Its obvious that as the wind blows to the trees the buds will be blooming in the month of May.

    Connotative meaning:
    For me, there are many circumstances that come into our lives, but we can struggle it all and it can strenthened us to be a strong person. Life is full of hope and happiness like buds bloom in the month of May..

  12. As the wind(current air) blow across the trees, I see the bud(FLOWER) blowing in May.

    - Wind refers to a fantasy that a human have in thought but if that fantasy became true happiness will follow and bloom. :)
